JayDoc is funded completely by private donations and local grant agencies. Currently, The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City provides JFC’s operational budget. However, the clinic has received money from several other agencies in the past, including the REACH Foundation, Wyandotte Health Foundation, and AAMC. An annual JayRock benefit concert serves to bring in supplementary donations from private individuals and businesses in the community. Clinic and laboratory space are provided at a generously reduced rent by the Southwest Family Health Care Clinic.
