The fifth annual JayRock Concert to benefit Jaydoc Free Clnic will be February 12, 2010 at the Uptown Theater, starting at 7 PM. This year the Generationals are our feature band, along with the Dead Girls and the Thieves!

Jaydoc Closed Due to Weather 1-6-10

Jaydoc Free Clinic has cancelled its January 6 Wednesday night clinic due to the snowstorm. We will be open again on Monday, January 11.

Jaydoc Free Clinic will be closed Wednesday, December 23, but open on Monday, December 28 and Wednesday, December 30 at the usual clinic time. Happy Holidays!

Jaydoc Technology Upgrade

Cowtown Computer Congress of Kansas City has partnered with Jaydoc to volunteer its services in helping to improve the technology used at Jaydoc, including software, hardware and web design.

The Cowtown Computer Congress (CCCKC) was formed in 2008 to create a shared space for local technology enthusiasts to meet, collaborate on group projects, share tools and to support Kansas City’s technology community. Click here to visit CCCKC’s website

Be on the lookout for upcoming improvements in the near future, and thank you CCCKC, Southwest Boulevard Family Health Care, and Jaydoc volunteers for your collaboration on this project.

Welcome Medical Students!

Jaydoc Free Clinic welcomes back all the students after the summer break, and greets the new School of Medicine Class of 2013. The new class was trained for Vitals and Intake, Laboratory, and Interpreter positions on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Thanks to all our student, doctor and community volunteers for all your hard work this past year, and thanks to all the students who trained- we look forward to seeing you at Jaydoc Free Clinic!

JayDoc will be closed on Memorial Day

JayDoc Free Clinic will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2009 for Memorial Day. The clinic will be open as usual on Wednesday, May 27.

Thank you to everyone who turned out for the 6th Annual JayDoc 5K Saturday, May 2! It was a huge success this year, thanks to your continued support and to all of our volunteers. Together we helped raise enough funds to help treat an additional 233 patients at the JayDoc Free Clinic. Congratulations!
