JayDoc is funded completely by private donations and local grant agencies, including the Health Care Foundation and the REACH Foundation. The clinic has received money from several other agencies in the past, including the Wyandotte Health Foundation and AAMC. In addition, clinic and labortory space are provided at a generously reduced rent by the Southwest Boulevard Family Health Care Clinic. The annual JayRock Benefit Concert, JayDoc 5K Race, and Benefit Dinner bring in supplementary donations from private individuals and businesses in the community.
